Yes I’ve been busy. I know someone is out there rolling their eyes thinking, “Aren’t we all?”
I guess so.
I think the difference comes in how we react to what life throws at us and our capability (at any given moment) of dealing with it. I have Bipolar Disorder and I’m an extremely sensitive person.
Does this affect my business?
Yes. And No.
I’m often driven by the surge of energy that comes from within to create! I also need to take time off to recuperate from activities of high stress or too much activity.
How does this affect my business?
I delay the admin side as much as possible and work on the creative side in order for works not to be delayed in any way. So far, so good.
The past while though, I’ve been quiet because of many reasons. I recently lost a dear friend to a Depression episode and it had a huge knock on my well-being. I was motivated. I was energetic. And then. Boom. She left us.
Another reason I was busy busy busy: I took part in the Darling Wildflower Show that happened between the 16th and 18th September. I’ve inserted some COOL pictures.
I honestly had so much fun! It was a lot of hard work though (I have to add that bit). From 9am to 5pm, one needs be engage with your customers- each and every one of them. Some people just spoke of their kids, others looked at my art and just said, “keep going!”. It was wonderful! I got an opportunity to really define my brand and bring it across to people at the market. It worked for some and didn’t for others. And that’s absolutely A-OK!
I’m currently working on a new project. It’s a portrait of a gentleman by the name of Nicholas Mangeya.
I still have lots to do but I’m very proud of my attempt so far. I’m learning so much!
I just wanted to fill you in.
Feel free to contact me for works!
