As part of the downtime, I decided to dip my toes in exploring what feminism and art means. The experiences of women are sometimes like a constant ring or noose around our necks. But hey, we’re built for it right? We even make our nooses, these reminders of pain, look pretty.

Since creating work intuitively, I have discovered a part of me that is very curious about feminism. I’m curious because I’ve always strayed away from it but was always intrigued by it. Little did I know that in many ways, I was always on the cusp of exploring it.
Apparently, the feminist art movement started in the late 1960s, so I have a lot of catching up to do.
