About this piece
I forget the raw feeling that comes with opening up. Sometimes I forget what that opening up is just that: opening up for the world to see what’s inside me. I open up anyway. Because it’s brave. Right? This painting formed part of several exhibitions and was painted during my interview with Jodi Windvogel from Beautiful News South Africa in 2018.
