These drawings formed part of the exploratory studies in creating oil paintings for the Group Show, “Margins” for Womxns month at Eclectica Contemporary Gallery in Cape Town, South Africa. The drawing features a snake, symbol of transformation, emerging Figures from the darkness, which presents an inner cave and then the mindless losing of oneself in a maze.
