“Dreaming is Remembering .”
I was asked to illustrate a drawing for a thesis, for a friend of a friend. The prompt was around being asleep and dreaming. It had to include a little boy, and books and a few other things. I went a deep and thought about how dreaming is Remembering and remembering is dreaming. I first drew the image with fine liner on paper. Then took a photo and imported into Procreate. This was the first time I decided to play with the dark canvas in this way , and this colour feel. It was also the first time I saw light differently. It was also the first time I decided to stick with the digital charcoal as my medium of choice.
